Wild Roses with Bird Screen
A saucy jay perches in a thicket of wild roses.
This screen was built to screen off the dated gas insert, but allow the glow of the dancing flames to shine through.

Below is a close up of the hand forged rosehips and leaves... no thorns please!

Serpent with Yggdrasil Motif for the Hoff.
Drinking horn stands sold separately.

Stand Alone Style with Custom Inner Design.

Note the attention to detail in the hammered surface and riveted handles.
The eyes of the serpent glow as the fire behind burns

An example of hinged style doors prior to fitting within a custom frame.

This is a set of fire dogs currently in my own fireplace.

This fire set was custom built to showcase the stone of the hearth.
Note the smoke stain from the old 1970's style that we replaced.
The screen expands out into the room but matches the hearth.
The frame is of a nice round hammer texture highlighted with copper rivets.

We designed the tools, andirons and damper fob with the same upset-four clout style.

This screen was designed to encompass the hearth and fit under the hood.
The frame texturing we matched with the wood carvings above.

We were able to replicate the gouges marks from the wood carver on the steel frame by use of a special sized cross peen.

We think we may have had some help on this install from this wee orb sitting on my shoulder, but we're not sure.
Standard size tools sold alone or as a set with stand. Tools with stand start at $300.
